Why I can help

Hi, I’m Rouba Chalabi. I blend breathwork with food addiction counseling to help you find harmony within and transform your body-food connection. 

I have been a workaholic and overeater myself for 40 years. You are learning from a recovering food addict who has successfully lost 1/3 of her weight and sustained it for over 7 years. 

Everything I do comes from my personal experience healing my relationship with food and reconnecting with myself, my training in biodynamic breathwork and trauma release and the food addiction recovery model. 

How Nourish Your Body Works

Nourish Program is a five week 1:1 high transformation program that you can schedule at your timing.

You will build your organizational skills and daily habits that makes nourishing food readily available. You will slowly learn practical tools and begin to integrate wellbeing practices to manage stress in your daily life.

‘NOURISH YOUR BODY’ INCLUDES:

4 weekly 90 min 1:1 coaching sessions: topics to cover eating structure, eating logistics, how to become present in your emotions, managing your unease, and attending to your needs.

1 introductory breathwork session:  Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release uses the six elements of breath, movement, sound, feeling, self-expression, touch and meditation to help you manage your unease and restore your relationship with yourself.

Daily check-in: You will be supported through daily accountability, guidance and inspiration.

The Nourish Your Body program is open to those who have completed:

  • Food for Thought Session - this session will give you the clarity and determination to proceed to the sugar and flour detox.

  • The “Food For thought Session” is a program pre-requisite. This session will give you the clarity and determination to proceed to the sugar and flour detox. Once completed, you may begin the Nourish your body program. Book your Food for Thought 90 min session here.

  • Stopping sugar and flour involves a one day at a time mindset. Nourish your body program can be viewed as your 5-week change experiment. You will be able to learn, grow and assess whether this is a lifestyle you wish to continue in the future. Further support is provided via the Flourish in Life program should you wish to lead a sugar and flour-free lifestyle after you complete the Nourish your Body program.

  • No. This is a not a diet. By joining the Nourish your body program, you are experimenting abstaining from food that activates your cravings. You will follow an eating structure that neutralizes your hungry ghost and slowly redesign your life to stop using food as a tranquilizer.

    Breaking your obsession with food will involve detoxing the body from sugar and flour first and then working on the mind, body and soul. Mistakes are part of this learning journey. You will get support in learning from your mistakes and get to discover the true reasons that made you overeat.
